NASHVILLE KOREAN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH PROJECT COMPLETED |
|
The project included construction of a 360-seat Sanctuary with an attractive overhead structure of exposed laminated wood trusses and wood roof deck; an Education area with Classrooms, Choir Room, Library, Nursery, and Offices; a large Fellowship Hall with sports flooring and basketball goals; and a complete commercial Kitchen facility. The project faced occasional hurdles from start to
finish -- including value-engineering and re-design shortly after bid,
problematic soil conditions on a sloped site, and plenty of rainy weather
to hamper progress throughout construction.
All of which contributed to a challenging job for everyone involved. In the end, the project has turned out very nicely, and the
church is enjoying the facility for its intended use. The church has
expressed their thanks to all Rock City employees for their work and
commitment to this project. And
Rock City, in turn, thanks and appreciates all the subcontractors and
suppliers involved in the construction of the church. We enjoyed
working with the church's building committee, especially Pastor Shin, and all
other church members involved in building a prominent place of fellowship
and worship.
See our Religious Projects webpage for more information on Rock City’s prior church projects.
