Click here to see the Library construction webcams GROUNDBREAKING FOR THE NEW WILLIAMSON COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY On May 2, 2002, Williamson County broke ground for the new Williamson County Pubic Library on Columbia Avenue in Franklin, TN. Since being named as Construction Manager, Rock City Construction has prepared bidding information based upon Everton Oglesby Askew Architects documents and received bids for the new 50,000 sqft structure. Bids were within budget, and with site issues now cleared, contracts are being issued and we look to mobilize the earthwork contractor shortly. Total construction cost is budgeted for $6,235,000.00. Fred Reynolds will be Rock City's Project Manager on the project, Carl Hobbs will serve as Project Superintendent, and Kerry Rodgers will serve as Assistant Project Manager. We are looking for construction time of about ten months, allowing the owner to occupy in just over a year.
