History We are the oldest licensed contractor in the state of Tennessee. Rock City Construction Company was founded in 1913 in Nashville. The company initially began by performing residential and small commercial contracts, moving on to major commercial work. Generations later, Rock City Construction has evolved to meet the demands of today’s commercial construction industry, while managing to maintain the company’s unique heritage. We have been a stable family business since 1913.
